Anyway, I've become obsessed with all things ladylike, pin-uppy and vintage..
For example:

The Miss Blondie shoe by Aussie label Peeptoe. I recently met the brains behind the label, Nikki Hager and let me tell you. She is a babe. A lovely, inspirational babe.
(P.S these shoes are on sale right now. Of course. When I have no money at all. It kills me.)

Pin-up artist Gil Elvgren. Fun, cheeky paintings that make me wish i was a little bit more artistic.

Cute leopard trimmed fitted dress by www.daddyos.com
Also, epic bride of frankenstein-esque hair on the model! crazeh.

Gorgeous 'Jannah' dress by local label Pinup by Sophie (www.pinupbysophie.com.au) (Also comes in red and black, reowww!)
I've also been watching a few movies of late that have fuelled my lady-longings. 'Cadillac Records' and 'Nine'...

Beyonce as Etta James in Cadillac Records

Penelope Cruz as burlesque babe Carla in Nine.
(you know it's quite difficult to find good film stills, maybe i should make a site chronicling the outfits in movies..?)
All I want, right this second, is to be taken on a date where i can dress up in a beautiful vintage outfit and killer heels. Doesn't even have to be anywhere nice. I'd settle for a cheap cafe in an alleyway.
I think this is what happens when you spend too much time indoors...
