lips shooting stars and harpoons

stay on my face forever

we are lovers at the bottom of the swimming pool

stealing secret kisses

heads butting together, in turn furious and gentle

'i can't get enough of you' mixed with 'i'm not going anywhere'

limbs intertwined, hearts pressed together

i'm sure eventually we'll weld ourselves together

stay in this dark room as long as we live

drawing out love, tracing all the things we want to say on each others skin

these walls encase us like underwater lovers

we daren't break the surface

everything is easier down here

everything is you and me

everything is quiet and everything is loud

hearts beating out of the walls

persistent thumping, drumming us to sleep

both of us skewered through the chest

of cupid's forceful arrow

but I wouldn't want it any other way, you know.
